In the past we have had buyers say they wanted young does and we will sell young ones, but we feel that a doe that is at least 4 yrs old has probably been exposed to EHD / Blue Tongue and is less likely to have problems.  For example we have a doe named “Mrs. Brown” (not for sale) who is from a very good pedigree so we have kept her all these years.  She is 11 years old and again this year gave us a doe fawn.  She has had twins every year except for this one which means that she has given us 17 fawns and at age eleven she most certainly has built up resistance to several diseases and so would have passed these immunities on to her offspring ….. just something to think about when you’re buying deer whether it is a buck or a doe.
 
Our Doe, being bottle raised, are easily treated if they should have any problems.  This year we will be selling several does that have not been available in the past.  Open does, as well as bred does, are available.  All are from very good 6 x 6 and 7 x 7 typical genetics and most are very gentle bottle raised doe that range in price depending on the number you would like to buy.  Any of these girls would make a great addition for a breeder operation.
